    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and success.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Act as a business partner to various departments and stakeholders, providing strategic financial guidance and support.
    • Prepare and distribute monthly management reports, analyzing results and providing actionable insights.
    • Review and implement new controlling procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Manage the finance team, debtors, creditors, and bookkeeping processes.
    • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and optimal supply chain efficiency.
    • Manage IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless system integration and data security.
    • Compile accurate monthly accounts for the business, including account reconciliations and full review of P&L accounts.
    • Ensure financial close procedures are in line, including account reconciliations and full review of P&L accounts.
    • Maintain processes and procedures for efficient and effective management of operations, including billing and debtor management.
    • Work with corporate functions to align with group standards and best practices.
    • Complete accurate monthly forward forecasting, ensuring timely and informed decision-making.
    • Manage and own the budget process, working closely with stakeholders to set financial goals and objectives.
    • Manage and own the annual financial audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and control the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, providing detailed financial analysis and recommendations.
    • Perform other ad-hoc reporting and analysis tasks as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CA(SA), ACCA).
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance management environment, with experience in managing finance teams and leading projects.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel, with experience in using financial software and systems.
    • A valid Code 8 driver's license and own transport, with ability to travel occasionally.

    Salary:

    R1 200 000 - R1 800 000 per annum, depending on experience.
