purpose:


  • To conduct analysis to evaluate risk in accordance with the overall risk strategy and make recommendations to reduce or control risk thereby ensuring the bank is protected against operational or financial loss
    experience and qualifications:


  • Minimum Qualification

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma


  • Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Diploma in Risk Management (equivalent) ie, Degree in Banking
  • Experience 1 to 3 years experience in a similar environment

responsibilities:


  • Collect and analyse the risk and control information to ensure that the bank is adequately protected against operational or financial loss
  • Contribute to teamwork and inclusivity within own team
  • Identify and utilise opportunities to assess and improve own performance
  • Report on transactional and process activities within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making
  • Ensure operational excellence through the delivery of work processes according to defined quality standards
  • Comply with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements and adhere to processes and procedures related to area of specialisation
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards
  • Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilisation of work related resources
