DEBTORS/CREDITORS CLERK

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our accounting records on a day-to-day basis.

The ideal candidate will be working with the Sage Pastel Manufacturing system.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable statements between remittance and sub-system entries.
Follow up on amounts not received from customers or suppliers.
Create and mail Invoices in a timely manner.
Prepare and file VAT reports accurately and on time.
Generate and submit EMP201 reports efficiently.
Capture daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Maintain and update stock records as required.
Capture import transactions effectively.
Conduct key supplier reconciliation and analysis.
Match customer payments to Sales Invoices promptly.
Manage bank accounts monthly.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma in Financial Management is essential.

License/Certification:

Prior experience with Sage Pastel Manufacturing is necessary.
The ability to commute/relocate to Mooikloof, Pretoria East.
A valid driver's license for own transport.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous.

Languages:

Fluency in English and Afrikaans is necessary.
