Business Unit Manager Renewable Energy

Johannesburg North, Johannesburg - Gauteng - South Africa

Seeking an experienced Senior Level Manager to oversee business operations for the Power Division of the business and also provide strategic leadership with a strong focus on business development.

Knowledge of the Electrical/Power market is essential, and knowledge of the construction or Property is advantageous.

Your responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans, company policies, maintaining an open dialogue with stakeholders and driving organizational success and change where required.

A well-structured individual who can plan, organise, and lead the external sales function and ensure a high level of sales conversion and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Degree or Diploma in business and or Electrical Engineering Degree preferred
A minimum of 5 years experience in a sales leadership or business leadership role within the Battery/UPS/Standby Power/Solar Industries.
Must be able to read & understand batteries/power products' technical specifications.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
Welldeveloped English language skills, especially concerning oral and written communication.
Strong Financial acumen.
Experience leading procurement strategies.
Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
Ability to adapt and excel in a highly competitive business environment.
Strong people management
