Supplier Relationship Manager - Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa - Frank Consult
Description
Responsibilities:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transporters.
- Manage financial aspects of supplier interactions, including payment advice and negotiating terms.
- Standardize and optimize document processes for efficient communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams and creditors to facilitate seamless transactions.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing KPIs and measurement systems.
- Manage key supplier accounts and optimize routes and allocations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address inquiries and concerns.
- Plan and organize supplierrelated activities effectively.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and transporters.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve objectives.
- Analyze supplier data and identify trends for informed decisionmaking.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail in all supplierrelated tasks.
- Be available for cell phone queries and problemsolving outside office hours.
- Utilize negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers.
- Willingness to travel as required for supplier visits or businessrelated activities.
Experience and Qualifications Required:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Transport industry
:
- Indepth understanding and experience in road transport, specifically bulk Agri/Mining/Fertilizer.
- Proficiency in developing and managing supplier KPIs.
Previous experience in managing key accounts on the supplier side

Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field

- Strong financial background and familiarity with creditors.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proven planning and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical mindset and proficiency in working with data.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Availability for cell phone queries and problemsolving outside office hours.
