Minimum requirements for the role:


  • Must have a BSc degree in agronomy, plant pathology, entomology or closely aligned field
  • Minimum 510 years experience in the agricultural crop protection industry will be required
  • Must have experience in Project Management and trials with Plant Protection products.
  • Substantial knowledge of Field trials, business and technical aspects of products and crops is important
  • Previous experience in working with farmers, agents and dealerships is essential
  • Leading Biological and nutritional development strategy and delivering quality, cost effective trials.
  • Supporting Marketing with useful Answer plots and demonstration sites.
  • Leading the accreditation process in achieving requirements for SANNAS accreditation to conduct GLP residue field trials and GEP efficacy trials.
  • Training and assisting field trial teams with regards to ARM and report writing.
  • Managing Capex and Operational budget for allocated projects.
  • Supporting the General and Area Manager with regards to agreed tasks.
  • Suggesting innovative ideas to improve trial quality.
