Responsibilities:

Plan and carry out sales activities to customer and prospective customers and achieve business targes / aims / goals
Open new business accounts and follow up on existing and dormant accounts / clients
Extensive client and customer liaison
Build and maintain sound relationships
Keep labels, price lists, mixing formulations and customer list (accounts and cash) updated
Clear and defined pricelist for sales staff – update regularly
Sales and Marketing plan and strategy each week / month
New business development for bulk chemicals
Monitor and report on competitors activities and information
Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries and quotes
Compile a sales report weekly indicating sales and copies of orders from order book
Manage time, productivity and profitability
Stock needs to be more efficient, same day including transport costs etc.
Accurate costings to make sure selling prices are correct and profitable
Counter sales / telemarketing on an ongoing basis
Order chemical stock
Chemicals stock take
