    Description

    Third Party Liabilities Consultant - Insured

    We are seeking a highly skilled Third Party Liabilities Consultant to conduct negotiations and administration with insurance companies to process third party claims against clients, and thoroughly investigate quantum and merits.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Data Collection & Analysis: Collect and analyse data using pre-set tools, methods and formats to investigate claims. Ensure all data is captured and assessed fully and accurately.
    2. Administration: Produce, update and provide best practice support to customers on the claims administration process and other departmental systems, in line with claims policy, rules and SOP's.
    3. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service activities, including handling complex or outside-the-norm customer cases and enquiries. Ensure regular feedback is given to clients and third parties.
    4. Work Scheduling: Organise own work schedule to complete tasks efficiently, coordinating with support services.
    5. Correspondence: Prepare tailored correspondence to clients, third-party claimants and stakeholders. Build effective working relationships with third parties (including insurance companies) and Attorneys.
    6. Document Management: Maintain files containing correspondence and records of senior colleagues.
    7. Document Preparation: Prepare moderately complex documents using Microsoft Office applications. Gather and summarise data for reports. Manage claim documentation for customers.
    8. Personal Capability Building: Develop and maintain excellent process and technical skills through training and coaching. Ensure up-to-date knowledge of company products, systems and procedures.
    9. Operational Compliance: Develop knowledge of organisation's policies, procedures and regulatory codes. Ensure own work adheres to those standards.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
    • STI Qualification (Advantageous)
    • LLB/Legal Certificate (Advantageous)
    • School Grade 12 (Required)

    Experience:

    • 1-3 years Claims Experience (Essential)
    • 3 or more years' experience in insurance / financial / legal environment (Essential)
    • Experience in call centre environment (Essential)
