Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
• Maintain safety, health and environmental compliance.
• Maintain Current Client/Business relations.
• Perform checks on Bike before departure.
• Receive inquiries/info and pass on to line manager.
• Control expenses.
• Safely transporting various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Wearing proper PPE.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of products and envelopes.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Promptly report any incidents on the road.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
• Providing accurate time records of the company vehicles coming and goings.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
• Ensuring that the vehicle legal license for roadworthiness is up to date.
• Ensure that company vehicle is always serviced at 3000km intervals.
• Collect Fuel order when needed and fill bike with 95 Unleaded.
• Lubricate chain regularly.
• Ensure company vehicle is parked and locked up before knocking off for the day.
• Maintaining a specific route or area to collect or deliver packages.
• Using motorcycle to perform their duties.
• Handling multiple packages at a time.
• Having good communication and navigation skills.
• Navigating through busy city streets and around obstacles and other vehicles.

Education and Experience

• Knowledge of general routs and direction.
• Background, knowledge and experience in Bike driving.
• Valid Code A Drivers licence.
• Customer deliveries in the Gauteng area.
• Dealings with Customs will be an advantage.
• High school certificate.
• 5 Years experience in Motorcycle riding.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum depending on location and experience.
