    Description

    A senior role has become available for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to lead the implementation of SAP BW / BI.

    The Senior BI Analyst will be responsible for producing comprehensive specifications, building automated performance dashboards, and providing technical support. They will also monitor system performance and maintain the environment.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Provide data analytics and insights to customers.
    • Translate business needs into technical and functional specification documents.
    • Build automated performance trackers and dashboards.
    • Develop business reports and planning tools.
    • Contribute to data dictionary and business reference materials.
    • Engage with business stakeholders and provide support.
    • Train users on data analytic tools and process management.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, IS, or Computer Science.
    • At least 7 years' experience in data analytics.
    • Proven experience in business analytics, stakeholder management, and project leadership.

    Skills Requirements

    • Good working knowledge of SAP modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Sales & Distribution, and Plant Maintenance.
    • Strong retail knowledge.
    • Deep understanding of SAP Finance modules and financial planning processes.
    • Strong skills in data modelling, ETL processes, and proficiency with SAP Analytics Cloud and other BI tools.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of confidentiality, emotional maturity, ethical values, and integrity.
    • Must have high stress tolerance and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Innovative thinker with ability to solve complex problems.
    • Collaborative, influential, and rational individual.
    • Precise planner with excellent organisational/administration skills.
    • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Quality orientated and self-driven individual.
