Foreman Automotive Workshop - Roodepoort

Fast Growing Brand on the West Rand is looking for a Workshop Foreman.

This position can grow into Workshop Manager.

Duties will include:

Supervise and oversee all workshop activities, including repairs, maintenance, and servicing of vehicles.
Allocate tasks and resources to technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work orders.
Monitor and inspect workmanship to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded.
Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, assisting with complex repairs and diagnostics as needed.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to technicians to support their professional development and growth.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and productive working environment.
Coordinate with service advisors and parts department to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Workshop Foreman or similar role.
Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repairs.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Detailoriented with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
Proficiency in computerized diagnostic tools and software.
Valid driver's license.
