Our client, an International manufacturing company, seeks to employ a pro-active, progressive, and qualified Head of Commercial for their team in Johannesburg


Please note that this is a senior management role, specifically created to establish and lead business development, sales, and customer service for both the Gauteng and Western Cape Regions.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

  • You must have a relevant businessfocused tertiary qualification, coupled with 10 to 15 years of experience in chemical, refrigeration gas, or fire protection chemical product sales and commercial relationship development, business development, strategy development, channel management, market segmentation, demand planning, and marketing.
  • You must be able to work independently and accurately develop and drive the commercial strategy and activities for both local and growth in the rest of Africa with operational focus in mind.
  • You will be fully responsible for the revenue and gross margin performance and growth, as well as the development and implementation of Commercial Strategy, including a 3year plan to support company growth.
  • You must have a handson and resourceful attitude toward work, as well as experience in distribution, negotiation, and identifying market opportunities to present business plans and successful outcomes.
  • If you have demonstrable experience within the African market, and knowledge of Refrigeration and associated Chemical sales is advantageous.
  • You must have a valid driver's license, own car, and a clear criminal and credit record.
