Job Title: Wheel Alignment Technician

Job Purpose:

The primary objective of this position is to perform wheel alignment tasks on all PSRG vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Conduct accurate wheel alignment on all PSRG vehicles
2. Utilize workshop equipment effectively
3. Fit batteries, brakes, shocks, and exhausts as required
4. Mount and demount wheels correctly
5. Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment
6. Report any vehicle defects to the line manager

Health & Safety Guidelines:

1. Adhere to proper procedures for wheel alignment and lifting motor vehicles
2. Use correct tools for each task
3. Dress in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
4. Handle tools with care and keep them clean
5. Ensure work area and yard remain clean and safe
6. Store machines and tools properly and safely
7. Maintain dressing rooms in a presentable and neat condition
8. Prevent damage to company property
9. Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements
10. Verify that provided PPE and facilities are in good working condition

Customer Liaison:

1. Identify maintenance-related issues and report to Counter Sales/Line Manager
2. Perform reasonable requests and instructions within job parameters

General Responsibilities:

1. Clean wheel alignment equipment daily
2. Follow health and safety procedures on site
3. Capture accurate checks when required

Qualifications:

1. National Senior Certificate
2. Merseta Wheel Alignment Technician Qualification or equivalent

Experience:

1. Proficiency in English language
2. Minimum two years of experience in a fitment centre or workshop environment
