- Create a business development strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including consulting engineers, end-users, and investors.
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including growth areas, trends, customers, consultants, products, and services.
- Generate leads and establish connections with decision-makers.
- Plan promotional strategies, sales campaigns, and activities in collaboration with the General Sales manager, Branch/Sales Manager, and Marketing department.
- Attend seminars, conferences, and events to expand professional networks and build the company's profile.
- Establish a leads and opportunity pipeline on the ERP system, track its status, and provide regular updates.
- Prepare budget estimates and system designs for opportunities in collaboration with the Technical Manager to ensure efficient and accurate approaches.
- Develop case studies, application guides, and consultant specifications for specific market segments and associated risks.
- Stay updated on industry procedures, standards, and target market requirements.
- Maintain open communication with Regional Sales managers and Branch managers regarding activities and opportunities generated in their markets.
- Effective analysis of targeted market segments.
- Sales and marketing strategy implementation.

- Record keeping and reporting.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development, preferably within fire detection and suppression in the mining sector.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience selling mechanical, electrical, or electronic products into the mining and industrial sectors.
- Understanding of system designs and topologies.
- Experience presenting to large groups and high-profile decision makers.
- Effective data recording, maintenance, and reporting to seniors and peers.
- A reliable vehicle for regular business travel.
