Description
We are hiring a
premium clerk for our office based in Cape Town.


Responsibilities:

BILLING - Active polices to be debited in accordance to the Masterfile.

  • Bill clients
BANK ALLOCATION - Allocate funds which flow in and out of the business across the various bank accounts.

RECONCILLIATION - Facilitate and prepare each recon sheet by reconciling premiums received against expected data. - Collect member data from Group Schemes - Request amendments, new member data and cancellations from the client. - Update on applicable recon/system. - Extract/ compile member statement for relevant month. - Compile invoice. - Send invoice and full member data list to client.

REFUNDS - Validate request for refund. - Refund relevant premium amounts to client.

COMMISSION - Facilitate and prepare each recon sheet by reconciling premiums received against expected data. - Collect member data from Group Schemes

PREMIUM RECOVER AND RETENTION - Send missed premium notification across all payment platforms. - Liaise with clients to recover outstanding premiums

QUERIES - Respond to all customer queries in a timeous manner as stipulated by SLA.


COMPILATION OF FULL MEMBER LIST FOR THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER - Complete payment histories and member data is used as a basis to compile the final member count for invoicing.

  • Computer Literacy (Outlook, Word and advanced excel)

Qualification and Experience:


  • Minimum of 6month general premium admin experience
  • General Insurance knowledge preferred
  • Accounting would be advantageous
