Description

Experienced Warehouse Operations Manager who will be responsible for the operation's in the warehouse and management of staff.

You will ensure a positive impact and high levels of customer satisfaction and profitability and manage staff and the overall operation of the warehouse, ensuring the safe and effective receipt, order, assembly storage and distribution of customer goods on time and without damage.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of +4 years' experience in the warehouse and logistics field with fleet experience.
Must be available and willing to work every alternative weekend.
Fluent English.
Matric
Certificates in Warehouse Management/ Logistics Management / Supply Chain or other related qualification (Advantageous)
Attention to detail.
Great administration skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package

Duties and Responsibilities:

Creating programmes for employees' professional development
Establishing objectives for increased output and improved efficiency
Monitoring the overall budget of the business as well as departmental budgets
Organizing events to increase staff motivation and engagement.
Establishing and monitoring employee schedules
Monitoring onsite projects and field operations
Resolving inventory management concerns
Constructing logisticsenhancing solutions
Managing employees
Accountable for general administrative duties and to complete and submit all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures ensuring efficient operation on a daytoday basis.
Ensure the Warehouse is fully prepared for the peak seasons.
Engage in regular staff meetings to communicate, motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the Warehouse to ensure productivity as well as discipline of staff if required.
Ensure all staff reporting to you adhere to their Job Descriptions.
Ensure that vehicles are in accordance with the Road Traffic Control Act.
Manage fuel expenses MTD/YTD and ensure effective use of the Tracker report.
