Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and services
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, government officials, industry associations, and community groups.
Create and execute public relations campaigns to increase awareness of our company and its initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams on messaging, brand positioning, and communications best practices.
Produce highquality content for a range of communication channels, including press releases, social media, website, and marketing collateral.
Plan and execute events, conferences, and speaking engagements to showcase our company and its products and services.
Monitor media coverage and provide timely responses to inquiries and issues.
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Communications and Public Relations in the energy sector
Sound understanding of the Net Zero COP Narratives, and Africa's place in it all.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to identify new opportunities for growth.
Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience with media relations, crisis management, and event planning.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
