INTERNAL SALES EXEC -
Spartan, Kempton Park - CTC R1- R20K PM Depending on Experience.


Injection and Extrusion Moulding Company seeks an Internal Sales Exec to manage and maintain effective customer service, reliable feedback, professional handling of complaints and putting necessary resolves into action.


Working within the Sales Team, with specific responsibility to receive, log and accurately process incoming sales orders through Demand and internal systems.

To support the team Account Manager in maintaining and further developing business opportunities with existing and new potential clients.


What we are looking for:
Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Must reside nearby (7 Vuurslag Avenue, Spartan), and own transport to work, not make use of public transport.

Looking for someone who is polite, friendly, and energetic.

Organisational Reporting

Report required sales performance on a monthly basis to the Sales Manager

Provide support and regular communication to the Account Manager and Sales Manager when required

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead Reporting - Specifying Market

Research and record all incoming leads from specifying marketers contracted.

Filter information relevant to product specification, regions and project status.

Using only qualified leads provided, contact qualified leads to secure a meeting with a specific external Sales Account Manager.

Record successful meetings and specifications secured.

Internal Sales

To develop sales with existing customer accounts by communicating product offerings, promotions and superior customer service.


Gain new business with existing customers by exploiting product sales and new business opportunities by identifying new clients to be contacted.

Build internal relationships with existing distributors

Arrange appointments on behalf of the External Sales Team where applicable

Supply samples, literature and quotations to all potential customers and existing customers within your remit

Support the Management team with other tasks/duties when required

Conduct outgoing calls as well as receiving incoming calls.

Offer the total basket of African products.


Processing Customer Orders:
Accurate reception, logging and processing on Demand of all incoming orders.

Prepare detailed quotations, including availability, price and delivery forecast effectively and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and requirements.

Stock Awareness

Raise all necessary documentation, including other acknowledgements.

Amend customer orders where necessary.

All order confirmations to be completed on a daily basis


Effective Customer Service:
Providing customer liaison, and advice on despatch dates/standard lead times.

Providing Account Liaison, with regard to customer account and/or sales status

Liaise with other departments, Sales, Procurement, Logistics and Production to maximize the customer experience.

Returns - Arrange and progress returns in liaison with warehouse and accounts personnel. Create replacement orders where appropriate.

Invoice queries - handle customer enquiries on charges

Pro-Forma invoices - raise and check daily monies received, take credit card payments

Advising customers within the areas of responsibility to feel positive that enquiries and complaints will be dealt with in a competent manner

Listening to customer requirements effectively and efficiently and where necessary implementing actions accordingly

Providing office support for the external team

Stock Awareness - Select stock in adherence to First in First out principles whenever practicable

Raise all necessary documentation, including other acknowledgements.

Amend customer orders where necessary.

Reliable customer feedback

Proactively contacting customers, keeping them fully updated at all times

Notifying customers of any known issues or information that may conflict with their requirements or cause delays

Resolving Complaints


Ensuring that all customer complaints are recorded, providing the necessary details in order to carry out the relevant corrective actions, preventative action, credit notes and sundry invoices where applicable.

Effective Communication

Making certain that all customer information is filled in a timely and precise manner.

Administration Support

Providing administration support where necessary, to the external sales teams including samples and paperwork and taking telephone calls.

Pricelist management as per requirements and instruction by the Sales Manager

Other Duties / Requests

To carry out any other duty that is reasonably requested by a Superv
