Experience:

Minimum 3 years in the DHET Nated N1-N6 TVET field

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the DHET Nated N1-N6 TVET field, either in public or private institutions
Strong understanding of the South African TVET education system, including relevant regulations and accreditation requirements
Experience in managing academic programs, student services, and administrative functions within a college setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders
Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Valid driver's license and ability to drive

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daytoday operations of PAX College, ensuring compliance with DHET regulations and accreditation standards
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the college's academic programs, student services, and overall reputation
Recruit, train, and supervise college staff, including faculty, administrative personnel, and support staff
Collaborate with academic departments to develop and revise curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and student needs
Monitor student enrollment, retention, and graduation rates, implementing initiatives to support student success and persistence
Manage college finances, including budget development, expenditure monitoring, and revenue generation activities
Foster a positive and inclusive college culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion
Cultivate relationships with external partners, including industry stakeholders, government agencies, and community organizations
Represent PAX College at meetings, conferences, and other events to promote the institution and build partnerships
Stay informed about developments in the field of TVET education, including emerging trends, technologies, and best practices

Working hours: 7am to 4.30pm
