Requirements:


This role encompasses the hands-on oversight of all venues, demanding a unique blend of leadership, meticulous attention detail and a profound dedication to delivering unforgettable guest and staff experience.


  • Minimum 5 years of 4/5 star hotel/lodge management experience.
  • Professional demeanor, mature, and wellpresented.
  • Strong interest/experience in nature/activities.
  • Must have own transport and driving/license.
  • Knowledgeable in kitchen operations and wine and food.
  • Exceptional skills in staff and guest relations.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing business needs, and think on your feet.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High focus on attention to details.
  • Must be a South African citizen or have a valid work permit.
  • No 9 to 5 mentality. Hands on.
  • Constant Liaison with guests & hosting guests

Basic Description

  • Team management: lead the operational team in alignment with our core values and company policies.
  • Effective communication: maintain strong communication within the team and owners across all levels to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Exceptional guest experience: Deliver and maintain high standards to ensure each guest has a memorable stay.
  • Health and safety Compliance: oversee security, health, and safety, adhering to all company procedures.
  • Budget Management: implement and control budgetary systems alongside management.
  • Strategic Planning: proactively plan for smooth lodge operations.
  • Maintenance and Operations: ensure the lodge, backofhouse operations, staff housing maintain consistent high standards and run effectively.
