Description

A client of ours, in the renewable energies industry, is seeking a Financial Analyst. They are a long-standing, well-established company, and they belong to a group of companies with multinational operations. Their finance department across the group is constantly growing.

If you are a newly qualified CA(SA) or completed articles with 1-2 years of post-article experience, please send us your CV.

Conduct thorough financial modeling and analysis of potential new projects using the proper techniques and equipment

Conduct in-depth research to obtain competition information, market intelligence, and industry trends to ensure well-informed decision-making

Assess the viability and feasibility of new projects while taking into account operational, market, and financial aspects

Create business plans, investment memos, and materials for pitches for new initiatives and joint ventures

Be straightforward and succinct when presenting your conclusions and recommendations

Assist in the creation and implementation of new initiatives, particularly when it comes to updating business cases in light of new facts

Organize project operations to ensure timely work completion and budgetary constraints

Constant evaluation of investment results in comparison to modelled business cases

Continues to update the corporate financial model for reporting and business valuation purposes

Qualifications and experience required:

A newly qualified CA(SA) or

Completed articles with 1-2 years of post-article experience or

A finance-related degree at least 3 years of experience with financial modelling
