Exciting news Our client is on the lookout for a talented Head Baker to lead their dynamic team in this thrilling new venture.

As the Head Baker, you'll take the helm in crafting top-notch bread and pastry delights for the bakery.

Your role will involve overseeing production schedules, guiding the team, whipping up new recipes, and upholding impeccable standards of hygiene and food safety.

Plus, you'll keep the bakery running like a well-oiled machine by maintaining a safe and organized environment, training staff, and managing inventory and supplies.


Here's what we're looking for:

  • 5 years of proven experience in a bakery or similar food production setting.
  • Pastry qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Exceptional baking and pastrymaking skills, with a knack for innovation.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, including staff supervision and training.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • Stellar organizational and time management prowess, with a knack for juggling production schedules and inventory.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and HACCP standards.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and product developments.
  • Must have own transport and a valid license.


This is a full-time gig, so be ready to roll up your sleeves and dive in, including those early morning starts, evenings, and weekends to keep things running smoothly.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting toptier bread and pastry products that wow customers.
  • Dreaming up new recipes and putting fresh spins on old favorites.
  • Keeping tabs on inventory and supplies.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with other departments for optimal bakery operation.
  • Mastering the bakery's production schedule.
  • Training and guiding the bakery team.
  • Keeping meticulous production records and handling administrative tasks.
