    Description

    Our client is seeking a seasoned Development Manager to oversee and prioritize IT Systems Development tasks through effective resource deployment and efficient workload allocation. This leader will guide a team of system developers to drive innovation and ensure Business IT Systems requirements are thoroughly developed and met.

    About the Role:

    1. IT Strategy Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for application software development, ensuring alignment with business needs and priorities.
    2. Solution Innovation: Design innovative solutions by integrating complex information sources, driving business value and growth.
    3. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, identifying and addressing their needs, concerns, and issues to inform strategic decisions.

    Education:

    1. Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited (Essential).

    1. 6 or more years of adequate System Development experience using relevant programming language or technologies (Essential).
    2. Previous experience in Financial Insurance industry (Advantageous).
    3. 3 – 6 years experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Essential).
