    Chief Financial Officer

    The role of Chief Financial Officer is a senior leadership position based in Centurion.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Job Overview:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic guidance to the Board and ExCo on performance against the company's strategy.
    • Implement risk management and compliance plans, monitoring programs regularly.
    • Lead the execution of the company's vision and strategic objectives.
    • Compile and integrate budgets, providing strategic input to business units.
    • Identify and assess critical organizational risks, implementing remedial action.
    • Built strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Board members, leadership peers, and service providers.
    • Raise funds from capital markets and banks at affordable rates.
    • Manage current structures, investigate new effective structures, and maintain relationships with investors and banks.
    • Forecast provisional tax submissions and ensure timely and accurate filing of required tax returns.
    • Possess a strong knowledge of the industry, corporate governance, financial services, and insurance landscape.
    • Leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-boundary skills are essential.
    • Chair the Combined Assurance Forum and report outcomes to the Audit & Risk Committee.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified CA(SA)
    • MBA will be highly beneficial

    Experience:

    • Minimum 15 years in Operational Finance
    • Minimum 5 years in financial management
