  • A wellknown bathroom ware and tile group require the above to be responsible for managing the sales team being part of the senior management team involved in company strategy on a national basis.

Minimum requirements for the role:


  • Must have a strong and outgoing personality, with the ability to mentor and coach, with exceptional people management skills.
  • Successful managerial experience having managed and driven a sales team within the retail or DIY or bathroom ware / tile industry is preferred for the role.
  • Previous experience with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets and dealing with merchandisers etc is essential.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels within the customer base and organisation.
  • Must have a strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically.
  • Managing the sales team being part of the senior management team involved in company strategy on a national basis.
  • Manage senior corporate accounts for the company and visit customers with the sales team from time to time.
  • Manage the sales team ensuring they are able to close and drive new business.
  • Achieving growth and sales targets.
  • Maintaining an efficient operation, including cost control of the sales and marketing activities and personnel.
  • Developing and managing relevant business intelligence reports to measure performance and guide decision making.
  • Managing marketing and sales strategies, including pricing specials for the organization.
  • Monitoring of customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction.
  • Establishing sales representation for geographic areas and targeted customers.
  • Handling strategy and budget development.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
