Broad Purpose / Function:

Responsible for leading a cross functional team for the achievement of project objectives through supply chain and manufacturing activities.
Manages overall project portfolio for the site ensuring appropriate resource allocation in accordance with global/regional/local business priorities
Manages deployment of change management processes.
Seeks out continues improvement opportunities an oversees timely implementation of efficient operational practices.
Governance and reporting of site KPl's at plant and regional level

Duties / Responsibilities:
MAKE EXCELLENCE - CPT CONSUMER LEAD

Collaboration and Relationship building E2E, driving better strategic relationship with local, regional, and global affiliate to ensure the development of the South African Portfolio is fit for the supply of product to the Sub-Saharan Market and other applicable markets.
J&J monthly scorecard reporting to Regional Stakeholders for evaluation and strategic alignment.
Deployment of digitalized programmes within specific areas of the site to create a virtual platform for Performance Management
Integrate these digital platforms into the Site Leadership standard cadence of Performance Review and strategic thinking.
Development of supporting tools/system/s and programmes to achieve Prioritization and Resource Management of the site portfolio
Leads and supports the implementation of initiatives aligned to the Saving portfolio to deliver the strategically aligned regional target YOY.
Coordinates global/regional programs within the site (i.e., JJPS, ZBB, Agility, Aspirational Goal Setting) and ensure execution according to agreed deliverables and time plans.
Coach and train employees to create sustainability to the regionally deployed programmes

PMO - PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT OFFICE LEAD

Centralized portfolio Management of the site. Ensuring that all projects are centralized through PMO office, creating strategic alignment, centralizing, and invoking priotizaiton post SCLT alignment.
Project Priotizaiton in alignment with strategic goal orientated initiatives
Allocation and budget maintenance of all resources(OPEX, CAPEX, and FTE) for each project with adherence to 3 governing principles of Project Management for each project (scope, timeline, budget, while maintaining quality and safety.)
Provides guidance on project management processes and methodologies, trains and coach project team members accordingly in

Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience / Requirements:

8+ years' experience within pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment

Skills:

Strong Project Management expertise and experience. ability to work on several projects in parallel
Strong leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal. influencing and communication skills
Change Management experience with sound understanding of Lean principles.
Fact based and data driven strong process orientation, proactive approach
Sense of urgency and 'Make it happen mindset. results orientated.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement innovative solutions.
Interpersonal skills, Active listening, provides constructive feedback, team player, communication skills
Deadline and target driven approach and behavior
