    Operations Manager for Poultry Production

    The ideal candidate will be an experienced and strategic Operations Manager responsible for overseeing and optimizing poultry production, managing key operational functions, and driving business growth.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Poultry Production Oversight: Plan, enhance, and maintain high-quality standards in poultry production.
    • Hatchery and Breeder Farm Management: Manage personnel, hatchery, and breeder farms to maximize chick production and quality.
    • Effective Marketing and Sales: Ensure the successful marketing and sales of all day-old chicks.
    • Customer Base Development: Develop and grow the customer base through strategic marketing and promotion of products.
    • Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Targets: Take responsibility for sales, marketing, and achieving set revenue targets.
    • Brand Positioning and Awareness: Strengthen brand positioning and awareness in the market.
    • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government officials and commercial farmers.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, hygiene, health, and nutrition standards.

    • Leadership and Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
    • Poultry Expertise: Expertise in hatchery management and poultry breeding.
    • Financial Acumen: Financial acumen, including margin management, cost control, and cash management.

    Requirements

    • Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
    • Industry Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in the poultry breeding industry.
    • Operations Management Experience: Proven experience in operations management, sales, and marketing within the industry.
