Oracle DBA - Durban - IOCO

Description

We are seeking an Oracle DBA to join our organization in Richards Bay, kicking off a new project.

Your expertise:

• Installing, upgrading, patching Oracle Database
• Backup and Recovery experience, including Oracle Data Guard setup and support
• RMAN backup and recovery, Oracle Recovery Manager
• SQL and PL/SQL, query development for optimizing existing queries
• Performance investigation and tuning, relational database management
• Good understanding of server infrastructure and hosting of virtual and physical servers
• Database Security management

Nice to have as an Oracle DBA:

• Microsoft SQL Server experience
• SSRS - developing, maintaining, and backing up SQL Server Reporting Services databases and reports
• SSIS - experience with SQL Server Integration Services (data migration, publishing, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Matric certification
• Relevant IT degree or qualification
• Oracle Certificate
