Engineering equipment is repaired according to agreed standards, specifications and schedules
Electrical equipment installations are constructed and maintained according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications
Effective selfmanagement and alignment with M&RC values

Minimum requirements

Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
Section 26 Electrical Trade Certificate / MIETTB (Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board)Trade Certificate through a registered body, e

g:
Olifantsfontein, pre 1994 ESTC (Engineering Skills Training Centre) James Park GFA (Goldfields Training Academy)

Contract of Apprenticeship signed off by employer and Department of Manpower
Flame Proof and Gas Testing Certificates (Advantageous)
Valid First Aid Certificate (Essential, if not available, must obtain at onboarding)
Valid Code EB driver's license
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Minimum 5 year of mining industry experience (underground/Construction)
Minimum 5 years of trade experience as an Electrician
Knowledge on the following Sandvik machines; Double Boom Rig(DD421), Roofbolter(DS411)
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Ability to do faultfinding from drawings
Ability to supervise team and apprentices
