    About the Role

    The successful candidate will work one-on-one with patients in their homes or care facilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide basic care, assisting with personal hygiene, including washing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and supporting with moving and toileting.
    • Administer medications under the supervision of a registered nurse or family member.
    • Document patient condition and progress.
    • Support activities of daily living (ADLS) for patients.
    • Monitor vital signs and record.
    • Perform basic wound care.
    • Manage tracheostomy baby feeds using a feeding pump.
    • Record changes in patient condition and update daily reports.
    • Write reports in good English.
    • Assess sleep routines, record, and discuss with registered nurses to adjust care plans accordingly.

    Required Skills

    • Strong understanding of treatment plans set out by other team members (doctor, NSM, or physiotherapist).
    • Good communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, patients, and family members.
    • Knowledge of emergency situations with patients at home.
    • Familiarity with geriatric care, pediatric care, dementia care, post-stroke care, ventilation care.
    • Knowledge of catheter care (indwelling, supra pubic, intermittent).
    • Understanding of pressure sore prevention in bedridden patients.
    • Experience working with tracheostomy patients or observing in a unit.
    • Skills in suctioning trachea patients.
    • Prevention of infection in all patients.
    • Skilled in writing reports.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Diploma as a qualified Enrolled Nurse.
