    Description

    We are looking for an energetic, self - motivated Project Administrator who embraces values like responsibility and accountability with passion and pride in their work. The Project Administrator will be responsible for assisting Engineers and Project Managers with administrative tasks such as procurement, costings, health and safety, logistics, Local manufacturing liaison as well as over flow work on CAD.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Implements plans to assure orders meet specified quality and delivery times and to minimize the total cost of purchases
    • Documents performance to action plans and timelines for assigned sourcing projects
    • Establishes supplier base in conformance with Corporate guidelines
    • Handles requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes
    • Negotiates with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives
    • Perform strategic sourcing activities
    • Preparation, shipping and receiving of products – inbound and outbound logistics
    • First line support to sales, production and project manager to promote accurate and timely processing of purchase orders

    Desired Experience & Qualification:

    • 2 to 3 years experience in the role of Mechanical Engineer.
    • A tertiary qualification, Mechanical Engineer
    • Worked in a similar position for a medium-sized company
    • Knowledge of CAD would be a major advantage
    • Proficient in Excel and MS Office applications
    • Must be well organized and a self-starter
    • Must be detail-oriented, professional attitude, and reliable
    • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Ability to perform mathematical computations and have a basic financial / costings understanding
    • Must have a motor vehicle and valid driver's license
