    We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Program Director for Early Childhood Education at Kontak Recruitment. This pivotal role involves overseeing curriculum design and updates, collaborating with academic staff and industry partners, and managing student recruitment and admission processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement curriculum design and updates aligned with HEQF and CHE standards
    • Collaborate with academic staff and industry partners to keep programs current and industry-relevant
    • Manage student recruitment, admission, and selection processes, focusing on equity and accessibility
    • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials integrating practical applications with theoretical knowledge
    • Design, implement, and assess course materials to maintain high academic standards

    Key qualifications include a Master's degree in education specializing in early childhood or foundational phase teaching, SACE registration, and leadership, academic program management, strong communication, educational technology, compliance, and research integration skills. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in higher education lecturing with program coordination and curriculum development experience.

    The salary for this position is estimated to be around R600,000 per annum, depending on the individual's qualifications and experience.
