    We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for Controller Material Planning & MRP position , under the Services Department. The position will report to Manager Planning and Procurement and is based in Randjespark (Midrand).

    Job Purpose

    To Supply the project with materials and parts necessary to complete the maintenance of trains and projects and help achieve the customers expected OTIF (On-time In-full).

    Key Responsibilities

  • Execute TSSSA Material planning and Inventory strategies in coordination with Industrialization and Operations.
  • Define parts typology (based on ABC, variability, business type) for defining planning tactics and to support Line replenishment.
  • Define and set-up MRP parameters to implement material planning strategies.
  • Analyze Inventory content for correcting planning strategies.
  • Support finance for inventory depreciation calculation.
  • Implement and manage improvement plan in regard of Inventory reduction.
  • Measure performance in material planning (material availability) and inventories.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • B-Tech Degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering.
  • Previous experience working in a maintenance environment.
  • Working knowledge of Material requirement planning, warehouse management and inventory control system.
  • Special Requirements

    The job involves some mobility to clients and several depots.
