We have an opportunity available for an Office Manager in the Rosebank area, you will be responsible for managing the overall office operations, such operations include: enabling organizational governance, scheduling and communicating site wide activities, supporting ongoing projects and initiatives, and enhancing the collective productivity of all associates


Requirements:


  • Grade 1
  • Must possess a minimum of 10 years administrative support experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be detailoriented and can work proactively and effectively with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be teamoriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
  • Must show demonstrated dedication to providing quality customer service internally and externally

Duties:


Represent the site locally by:

  • Manage general staff that consists of Receptionist, Driver and Cleaners
  • Responsible for the procurement and control of office stationary
  • Responsible for vehicle registers, upkeep and maintenance, and all relevant licensing
  • Answering main phone line and greeting guests
  • Greeting visitors and customers including assisting customers and sales vendors, accepting packages from couriers, and dispatching packages and mail to individuals
  • Documentation and distribution of management meeting minutes, action items, and decisions, communication of agendas, required attendees, relevant premeeting information

Administration:

  • Manage and maintain the office building
  • Responsible for local procurement that include loading and placing of purchase orders
  • Follow up on all local procurement
  • Supplier liaison
  • Purchase orders
  • Responsible for fleet maintenance
  • Responsible for functions and events
  • Responsible for travel arrangements and bookings
  • Responsible for Legal filing and contract maintenance

Support Managing Director by:

  • Typing of letters and reports
  • Responsible for filing and administration
  • General PA duties

Human Resources:

  • Generalist HR support
  • Skills development & Employment Equity administration
  • Committees administration and minute taking
  • Employee wellness.

Salary:
R25 000 basic + Benefits
