Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Controller to join our team.

The Stock Controller will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting stock audits, and optimizing stock control processes to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand
Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile physical inventory with records
Establish and maintain reorder points for each item based on demand forecasts
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and optimal stock levels
Utilise inventory management software to track stock movements and generate reports
Implement barcode scanning technology to streamline stock control processes
Analyse sales trends and market demand to forecast future inventory needs
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimise inventory management practices
Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to enhance efficiency

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
Proven 12 years experience in stock control, inventory management, or related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
