Description
Purpose of the Job:
To Provide the People Delivery Specialist with a support function focusing on effectively administrating in the people department and support the Supply Chain People agenda in the Inland Supply Chain Region.
Job Objectives:
- Assist with recruitment activities
- Ordering and issuing of Uniform and PPE
- Assist with coordinating of training and development? Assist with IR related matters
- Compiling and submitting monthly management attendance registers
- Coordinate the annual Supply Chain Graduate Programme
- Other People related Ad hoc duties & queries (Leave queries/pay queries/ employee benefits/ projects
- Coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with coordination of training
- Time & attendance (Scheduling & Transmission of hours for Personnel on the workforce Management system)
Qualifications:
- B-Tech or Degree in Human Resources or related field or related field
Experience:
- At least one year experience in a similar HR administrative role
- Previous experience in working in a Supply Chain/Logistics/Retail environment (desired)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Deciding and initiating action
- Attention to detail
- Working with people
- Planning & organizing
- Computer Literacy (MS suite; Word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint, SAP & workforce management)
- Basic knowledge of labour law & recruitment techniques
