Purpose of the Job:


To Provide the People Delivery Specialist with a support function focusing on effectively administrating in the people department and support the Supply Chain People agenda in the Inland Supply Chain Region.

The People Delivery Assistant will also fulfil office administrative duties in the People Delivery Department.


Job Objectives:


  • Assist with recruitment activities
  • Ordering and issuing of Uniform and PPE
  • Assist with coordinating of training and development? Assist with IR related matters
  • Compiling and submitting monthly management attendance registers
  • Coordinate the annual Supply Chain Graduate Programme
  • Other People related Ad hoc duties & queries (Leave queries/pay queries/ employee benefits/ projects
  • Coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with coordination of training
  • Time & attendance (Scheduling & Transmission of hours for Personnel on the workforce Management system)

Qualifications:


  • B-Tech or Degree in Human Resources or related field or related field

Experience:


  • At least one year experience in a similar HR administrative role
  • Previous experience in working in a Supply Chain/Logistics/Retail environment (desired)

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Deciding and initiating action

  • Planning & organizing
  • Computer Literacy (MS suite; Word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint, SAP & workforce management)
  • Basic knowledge of labour law & recruitment techniques
