Description
We're looking for a highly organised production manager to join our fast-growing content and comms team in Cape Town.

This role is multifaceted and suited to an experienced writer or managerial editor who has equal lashings of creativity and attention to detail and is inherently process driven.


You will be expected to run content through the right workflows on time and allocate CRM and content resource, while evaluating briefs and writing to ensure the work aligns for both stakeholders and the creative team.

You will also represent the content and comms team alongside the Global Content Editor in business-wide settings.

The successful incumbent will be an adept writer, who can tackle any brief, from travel and dining to product guides and brand content, while mentoring other writers in the team.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the production flow of content, from stakeholder brief to end product, ensuring work is fully QAed and meets the brief
  • Manage campaigns through the comms calendar, highlight any potential risks with clients, and represent the Content and Comms team in campaign meetings with the wider business
  • Chase commissioning editors, writers, CRM specialists, proposition, and client services owners to ensure that content is delivered to schedule
  • Work closely with the EMEA content leads to refine processes
  • Act as a liaison for content with external departments, assisting with briefing processes and sign offs
  • Work closely with the Global Content Editor and senior sub editor to ensure content is meticulously checked, is expressed with Ten's tone of voice and tells the story of Ten
  • Create content for guides and special projects as needed
  • Onboard new team members with production processes
  • Innovate and update production processes where needed
  • Commitment to supporting the delivery of Ten's environmental, social and governance goals, and promoting policy adherence

Requirements:


  • Strong experience as a senior writer or managing editor with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence across a variety of business units and levels of seniority
  • Experience in managing workflows
  • Strong people skills
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Confident playing a key role within a major company
  • Strong administration skills
  • Ability to grasp complicated topics, concepts, and company intricacies quickly
