Job Description:

The Learning & Development Coordinator will be responsible for providing an effective overall coordination function, within the Learning and Development department, by ensuring training programmes and relevant projects are planned, implemented and monitored as per requirements

  • Work with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives
  • To act as a first point of contact for Learning & Development and redirect as appropriate
  • Participate in creating and implementing training programmes
  • Assist Learning & Development Manager with preparation of material for Learning & Development
  • Provide administrative support with regards to the implementation of the company talent development strategy, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting on adhoc Learning & Development Projects
  • Assist with general and specific compliance activities related to all audits (internal, SETA audits, B-BBEE) and related corporate governance requirements as and when required
  • Prepare evidence documents for audits
  • Assume specific responsibility for administering and coordinating all B-BBEE audits
  • Perform administrative tasks in support of the various elements of B-BBEE
  • Constantly understand, align, and update administrative processes relating to any changes in B-BBEE Policy (including sector specific codes) and Strategy
  • Update B-BBEE, Employment Equity and learning management systems and dashboards as well as revise processes that allow for data to be captured, analysed, and monitored
  • Capture monthly payroll input for all Learners, Interns and YES employees, and assist in addressing all queries in this regard
  • Assist with mandatory training compliance and reporting
  • Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager

Qualifications:


Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

  • Grade 1
  • National Diploma/Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration or related and/or 2 years proven experience in the sector or within the company in the functions, knowledge, skills, and experience sufficient to be recognized as a qualification through Recognition of Prior Learning
  • Accredited Skills Development Facilitator (SDF)
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • VLOOKUP's and Pivot tables, etc.)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in administration
  • Preferably 1 year experience in B-BBEE administration
  • Skills Development Facilitator experience highly preferable
  • Functional knowledge of: WSP/ATR, EEA, B-BBEE, SDA
  • Knowledge of/ worked with SETA's
  • PaySpace (or other payroll and HRIS systems)
  • SharePoint
  • BEE Trax
  • SmartRecruiters will be an advantage
