Description
An expanding Fast Food Franchise business in Port Shepstone currently with 15 stores, is looking for an experienced individual to join the firm.
Must have long term objectives to grow with the company and has the ability and necessary skills to take the business to the next level.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping to Trial Balance
- Review of Trial Balance for completeness and identifying/ addressing irregularities
- Reporting and analyzing performance at Stores level on Gross Profit %, Sales, Shortages, Cashups, Credit card transactions
- Bank Reconciliation
- Debtors and Creditors control
- Supervision of 2 Junior clerks
- PAYE, UIF, VAT SARs submissions
- Obtain Salaries and Wage figures from stores and process Journals
- Timeous submission and reporting of Management Accounts to Owners
- Timeous submission of accurate set of Accounting records to Accounting firm for them to prepare Financial Statements
- Prepare schedules with regards to Royalties and Rentals and follow up where necessary
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience relative to job requirements
- BCompt or B Comm degree in Accounting essential
- Previous working experience in Fast food sector a distinct advantage
- Previous experience on Pastel essential
Working Hours:
- 07H30 16H30 Monday to Friday
- Every alternate Saturday 08H00 12H00
