Bakery Counter Hand Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bakery Counter Hand to support our daily bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, take orders, and offer product information and recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Serving & Packaging: Prepare and package a variety of baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and other items, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Stock Management: Assist in organizing and replenishing bakery displays, ensuring that all products are fresh, attractively presented, and easily accessible to customers.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Inventory Support: Contribute to checking stock levels, receiving bakery shipments, and ensuring the freshness of products, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory management.

Requirements:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide top-notch customer service, responding promptly to queries, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Adaptability & Multitasking: Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapting to changing priorities.
• Previous Experience (Desirable): While not mandatory, prior experience in retail or food service will be viewed favorably, as it demonstrates relevant skills and knowledge.
