Our client seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Technical/Maintenance Manager, based in Pinetown to oversee the local production facilities as well as the facilities in Gauteng and the Western Cape.

Must have a BTech degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical and mechatronics) or similar as well as a technical qualification (Millwright/Electro mechanician).

At least 3+ years direct experience as a maintenance/technical manager in a blow moulding/packaging plant. Must have experience in dealing with departmental budgets, schedules, maintenance planning and reporting. Solid knowledge of safety regulations in manufacturing is essential. Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel is required. Project Management would be an advantage.
