    Position summary:


    Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the Payroll and HR Compliance Officer will be responsible for the HR Payroll Processing, Employee Benefits, Payroll administration and HR Compliance in accordance with local law and Marriott International Policies and Procedures.


    Key Duties and responsibilities:

    • Monthly Payroll: Manage payroll processes, including capturing, updating, and reconciling payroll data. Processing new hires, promotions and terminations. Conduct payroll input meetings with Heads of Departments, consolidate input sheets, reconcile discrepancies, maintenance of payroll records. Collaborate with finance for payrollrelated matters and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
    • Leave management: maintain accuracy of leave records, monitor leave accruals, balances and planners.
    • Employee Benefits Administration: Administer endtoend employee benefits, including benefit structures and billing related to Provident Fund and Healthcare.
    • Associate Support: Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support the team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Tend to and resolve payroll or employee benefit queries
    • HR Compliance: Generate Human Resources data reports including the collation of monthly, quarterly and annual statistics. Assist in the development and documentation of HR policies. Compile and submit Employment Equity Plans and skills reports. Conduct monthly/quarterly and annual HR Audits.
    • Create and maintain filing systems.
    • Serve as Human Resources Payroll and compliance subject matter expert and participate on project teams.
    • Follow all company policies and procedures;
    • Conduct induction programs and policy workshops.
    • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional;
    • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
    • Champion employee wellness initiatives and support wellness programs.

    Required skills, experience and qualification:

    • Related tertiary qualification
    • 2 years experience in a similar role
    • Knowledge on SAGE Premier advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes and related legislation.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
    • Proficiency in excel
