- The function of a Project Engineer (PE) is to support the project manager with the engineering and technical operations on projects.
- You will report to the Engineering Manager - Projects, but your primary responsibility will be towards the individual projects that you are assigned to.
- As an extension of the Project Manager, the PE is ultimately responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer's goals while protecting and promoting the interests of the company's technologies in all matters.
- Project Engineers might be assigned to manage smaller technical projects on their own
- Electrical Engineering degree or qualification in relevant field. Years of experience in a similar or related position will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of construction field.
- Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office products. Microsoft Project experience will be an advantage.
- Computer literate + MS Projects
- Driver's licence
- Passport (Willing to travel regionally and abroad)
- Traceable references & clear criminal recordSkills:
- Ability to work in an office environment as well as in the field as requested.
- Ability to work independently, within a team and in a diverse workforce
