- Manage optimal production efficiencies and effectiveness by overseeing the Production Team and processes in line with agreed standard operating procedures and health and safety requirements, whilst taking into consideration upstream and downstream customers.
- Manage cost effective production through planning, organising and managing the relevant operational functions and teams to support optimal and lean production in line with capacity, agreed budget, planned resources, targets and Group objectives.
- Ensure production processes are followed in conjunction with continuous improvement recommendations.
- Accountable for DC operation process and ensure the desired output with minimum downtime.
- Identify, develop, implement and monitor compliance to standard operating procedures, coupled with data driven and analytical decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Mentoring, developing and coaching supervisors and potential talents through training and creating high performance teams.
- Support supervisors in managing the performance of staff, in relation to development, skills need, HR issues.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, optimize inventory, and manage stock control.
- Actively own and manage health and safety within departments and ensure OSH compliance.
- Diploma or Degree in Production/Operations Management/Business management
- 5 years experience in warehousing and production
- Understanding of Reverse Logistics, Returns Processes, warehousing, and production , lean and or 5s.
- Understanding of production, supply chain, distribution environment.
