National Sales Manager - Adhesives / Emulsions Industry

  • A wellknown manufacturer of various cement based adhesive and emulsion products for the building, waterproofing and construction markets requires the above to manage a sales team and drive all sales on a national basis.

Minimum requirements for the role:


  • Tertiary qualification in either a business or related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous sales management experience having managed a team of sales people within the tile adhesive and related markets is preferred for the role.
  • Previous experience having called on merchants and independent DYI's, hardware and owner retailer businesses within the adhesive or paints and coatings or related markets is preferred.
  • Must have good management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Managing and driving a sales team to achieve their KPI's.
  • Presenting monthly sales and project reports to the Directors.
  • Managing and overseeing top key accounts for the company.
  • Driving new business development with new and existing clients alongside the sales team.
  • Ensuring all customer requirements or special needs are communicated to the laboratory / plant and are delivered on time.
  • Working closely with the technical team to develop new products and provide input regarding the technical service and sales for new products.
  • Manage and oversee costing and pricing of all new product developments.
  • Manage and oversee price increase negotiations.
  • Working closely and aligning with the General Manager, Laboratory Manager, Technical Manager on a weekly basis to ensure that customers get their products on time.
  • Attend and exhibit at local and international trade shows.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
