    Description

    Job Title: Stores Supervisor

    Morris Material Handling is seeking a Stores Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of its stores in Benoni - Head Office.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Oversee general stock control, ensuring timely receipt and issuance of materials
    • Delegate tasks and evaluate subordinates' performance
    • Manage receiving and issuing of material, allocate costs accurately
    • Verify that Syspro costs are up to date
    • Process opening and closing of orders efficiently
    • Coordinate chain hoist orders received from branches
    • Control assembly of chain hoists as required
    • Manage and control job packing procedures
    • Monitor and adjust stock levels regularly
    • Co-ordinate periodic stocktaking activities

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric or equivalent Grade 12 certificate
    • Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Syspro software
    • Proven supervisory skills and experience
    • Prior knowledge of cranes and their manufacturers is advantageous
    • Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
