    Job Purpose

    As the IT Lead at Vector Linbro Park, you will oversee the performance and uptime of critical IT services supporting our 24x7 logistics operations.

    This hands-on role involves engaging with end-users, managing network and hardware infrastructure, supporting video conferencing, and working with advanced logistics technologies like handheld scanners and EPOD devices.

    You will collaborate with central IT teams, lead small to medium projects, and drive continuous improvement in IT services to enhance operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • IT Desktop Support: Provide expert support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
    • Address OS and software issues promptly, ensure patch compliance.
    • Network & Cloud Management: Troubleshoot network services (DHCP, DNS, VPNs, LAN, wireless), manage Azure cloud services, escalate complex issues appropriately.
    • Video Conferencing Support: Manage onsite video conferencing systems, troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues (Zoom, Teams, WebEx).
    • Fire Safety Systems: Ensure proper IT configuration and monitoring of fire safety systems in critical areas.
    • Customer Service: Deliver high-quality support, train end-users on tools like MS Teams and OneDrive, ensure high satisfaction.
    • Vendor & Internal Escalations: Coordinate with vendors and internal teams, track resolutions, and maintain accountability.
    • Hardware Asset Management: Oversee hardware inventory, procurement, disposal, and stock control.
    • Security & Compliance: Harden endpoints, enforce encryption, manage DLP, support VPN and Zscaler, participate in security audits, and incident response.
    • Change & Backup Management: Follow ITIL processes, manage backups, and test disaster recovery plans.
    • Project & Collaboration: Lead small IT projects, work with central IT teams, and stay current with emerging technologies.
    • On-Call Support & Documentation: Provide after-hours support, maintain technical documentation, and generate performance reports.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Ticket resolution within SLAs
    • System uptime of at least 99.9%
    • High user satisfaction scores
    • Accurate inventory management
    • Compliance with security standards

    Availability

    Willing to provide on-site and remote support, participate in on-call rotations, and respond to critical issues as needed.

    Internal: End-users, department heads, central IT teams

    External: Vendors, third-party support teams

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Certifications: ITIL, Azure, Intune, Office, MCSE, CCNA or similar

    • Technical: Desktop management, networking, cloud, scripting, security
    • Soft skills: Problem-solving, communication, leadership, customer focus
