Warehouse Outbound Supervisor - Montague Gardens - R R16 000 Per month


As a Warehouse Outbound Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing the outbound operations to ensure accurate and timely picking and shipping processes of all orders with maximum efficiency.

You will evaluate employee performance, handle disciplinary issues, and maintain an environment of respect and accountability.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective and accurate movement and storage of materials in the warehouse in accordance with standard operating procedures.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Direct the Outbound Operations to ensure accurate and timely picking/shipping processes of all orders with maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain and confirm all shipping and picking deadlines and priority cutoff times are met.
  • Plan, manage all Outbound functions, and coordinate activities of picking and packing as per delivery schedule.
  • Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled within the shortest possible timeline and packed to the standard required.
  • Ensure the warehouse is always neat and wellorganized.
  • Assist the warehouse manager with the responsibility for Health and Safety of Montague Park.

Skills and Requirements:


  • Previous proven relevant warehousing, logistics, or supply chain experience working in highvolume environments.
  • A sound knowledge of warehousing and materials handling.
  • A sound knowledge of Outbound picking/packing and deliveries of orders against picking/delivery schedule.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions in a pressured environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.) and operational systems/software (Sage).
  • Must be able to identify problems and resolve them in a timely manner; possess a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and resources appropriately.
  • Forklift Reach truck licenses.
