    Key Role Summary

    The Automated Test Engineer role is focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to validate application functionality.

    About the Job

    This 12-month contract position offers a mix of onsite and hybrid work (1-2 days) with a purpose-driven team.

    Purpose of the Role:

    Our ideal candidate will be responsible for creating test designs, writing scripts, installing automation protocols, and reporting test results to ensure high-quality standards are met.

    Core Responsibilities & Tasks:

    • Test Planning & Execution: Create comprehensive test plans and cases, design and execute automation test cases, collaborate with Software Developers to identify software bugs, document bug reports, and track defects until resolution.
    • Framework Design & Development: Design and develop robust, reusable automated test frameworks, select and implement suitable automation tools based on project needs.
    • Risk & Quality Management: Use risk-driven techniques to develop and execute automated test suites, review requirements and specifications to ensure quality and testability, trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks.
    • Automation Tool Selection & Maintenance: Select, develop, and maintain appropriate test automation tools, ensure stability and robustness of test scripts across multiple environments.
    • Test Results Reporting: Track and update test execution status, provide clear reports on test results and software quality, use diagnostic tools to identify root causes of software failures, recommend improvements to increase efficiency and performance.

    Mandatory Requirements:

    • Relevant experience in card or payment systems is crucial for this role.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Proven experience in automated software testing, including test case design, development, and execution.
    • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
    • Solid understanding of risk-based testing techniques and quality management practices.
    • Experience with defect tracking tools and diagnostic methodologies.
