    Our client who is a large corporate is looking for a Revenue manager to join their team on-site around Randburg/Midrand/Sandton Johannesburg.

    As a Revenue Manager, you are required to maximise revenue and assist in the delivery of total revenue and profit growth for the company. This will be done through effective pricing strategies, implementation of achievable revenue plans, and production of historical data.

    Furthermore, you are required to collaborate with other senior employees in the group by working together to achieve shared business objectives.

    Responsibilities:
    • Ensure that revenue is analysed (with the support and the collaboration of a Financial team) and tracked on a daily basis in order to ascertain whether the company is meeting and/or exceeding its budgeted revenues to allow for timeous corrective action if required.
    • Ensure that the brand standards, as applicable, are maintained to ensure consistency and continuity.
    • To be a key member of the Sales & Marketing Revenue Meeting and assist in the completion of the group budgets, with responsibility for the revenue budgets
    • To always be on the lookout for and be aware of any enhancements that could improve the group's product offering, service delivery, productivity, and efficiencies and to communicate such to the group.
    • Compile and communicate clear and concise pricing policies for all current pricing
    • Complete regular analysis of competitor rates in all segments
    • Develop and implement effective revenue management tools, systems, and standard operating procedures.
    • Continually refine the revenue management systems and standard operating procedures in order to demonstrate best practices.
    • Ensure that all internal and external customers are dealt with in an efficient, courteous, and friendly manner.
    • Ensure positive collaboration with other senior employees in the group by working together to achieve shared business objectives.
    • Ensure positive interactions with external customers by interacting with them regularly.
    Minimum Requirements:
    • Grade 12
    • Tertiary: Diploma in Hospitality Management or Undergraduate Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field, along with background and evidence of having completed formal courses/qualifications in Revenue Management.
    • Knowledge of pricing strategies.
    • Ability to interpret data and carry out statistical analysis.
    • High level of IT competency. i.e. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • 2 years - Experience in having worked in revenue management in a travel and hospitality-related environment with a preference for experience gained in a travel or aviation environment or similar.
    • 3 years - Experience in having worked in a travel/hospitality-related industry in a managerial role
    • Beneficial: Revenue/Pricing management additional studies or demonstrated modules in your degree.
